David Lucs

A lifelong singer in the Orthodox Church, conductor and composer who formally studied under Father Sergei Glagolev, David Drillock, Helen Erickson, and Mark Bailey. The insights learned from fellow composers and mentors have been invaluable in my understanding of the liturgy and how the liturgical function must guide the shape of every composition. In striving to create music which glorifies God, perhaps it will also make possible a deeper relationship with God for the listener and singer alike.
