Konstantinos Tsitsigkos

Artist Summary

Konstantinos was born in Athens in 1989. He grew up in Chalkida, where he completed his secondary education, while attending music and art studies. From 2007 to 2020 he completed his studies in higher education (Athens Church Academy – Relics Curation (Athens) 2007-2012, Athens School of Fine Arts (integrated Master) 2015-2020. Since then he lives and works in Chalkida and Athens. In his spare time he practices martial arts, reads literature, watches movies and plays music.
His artistic practice refers to contemporary man and his relation with his own self and others, influenced by society and its barriers. It relates to the internal struggle of men, as they try to discover who they are, and to their external struggles, as they try to be discovered; a constant interchange between doubt and revelation.
